Delicious food, Excellent customer service ! The food is well seasoned to Perfection. The self-meal preparation was a new experience to Me and I truly enjoyed it. Prices are affordable and the Quality and Quantity of the meat Spectacular !

Ist time at this location. The service was great and the food, as always was delicious. I will definitely be revisiting this location.

I strong reccomend this japanese BBQ place. Everything very fresh!!! I reccomend to order laver sashimi and yukke if you like to eat low food.

Customer service was awesome. It was a really long wait, but it was well worth it.

Food wise they do have some nice meats, sidings and dishes there're like more than 3 combination meals you can get. Pricing is more on the expensive side since its not unlimited so its over once you finished eating if you want more be ready to pay double. Its located in the middle of everywhere so its an easy to find.

Youhei is a very nice server. They have the best ever Green Tea Mille Crepe cake: it's to die for!!!!

I loved it, not sure what the waiters name was but the service was the best. I tipped him 50$ he helped very much and recommended some really good food. My new favorite spot.

Delicious food. Service is well paced and the servers cycle around well. Was forgotten for a touch which is why only 4 stars but other than that great food will come back for sure.

Super delicious marinated meats. The all you can eat menu has something for everyone and multiple price points. The grill is also made especially well so food cooks quickly and evenly and doesn't leave your clothes smelling like BBQ. I highly recommend this if you are very hungry!

No point in making a reservation. The past few times I've been here, Im always seated 20mins or more past my reservation time. And they always say "a few minutes" when you check in.

The best Ramen I have ever had

Nice Japanese BBQ place. Got the "meat lovers" combo deal. Was a good choice between my wife and I. 6 different kinds of meat come with the combo, my favorite being the "Beef Toro" the high fat content per slice makes the meat really flavorful. Our server was pretty good. Only downside was the seating. Unless you want to wait 45 minutes to an hour...MAKE RESERVATIONS. Since we didn't have any the hostess said "we can seat you but we are going to need the table back at this time". Kinda funny considering the table for 2 right next to ours was empty the complete time we were there along with a few other tables throughout the restaurant. We enjoyed ourselves but probably not to the extent we had hoped for. Especially since I wanted to order more "beef Toro" but knew we would be going over the time they needed the table back.

Loved this place ! My husband and I Used to go to the Cerritos location and decided to visit this place after moving to San Pedro and the staff here is incredible . We met Jessica and Anthony who helped us out and they were just such fun people . They made our experiment here the best ! I felt like the staff here was like family which I absolutely loved ❤️ We will definitely be coming back here

Me and my spouse would come here twice a month. And it would always be a five star experience. However today was not that day. The new recipe for the cheese wontons was disappointing, I think they should still give an option for the mozarella wontons. Also there are no more macaroons which was another highlight of our dining experience. It WAS our go-to place for our lunch breaks and date night.

This place constantly delivers. They serve great food for fair prices, there no long wait even when the place is loaded.

Never have I ever been to a Gyu-Kaku with such poor quality of meat and taste. Some meat was tasteless while some were too salty with the marination. Some beef comes in poorly cut slices and it was more like frying them on the grill rather than bbq. Been to other branches and this is the worst..

The customer service is constantly speedy, great character, helpful staff members. Will visit again when I arrive in town.

This was a new experience for me as I had to cook my own food at the table. Thankfully I'm a good cook! Everyone was nice and the food was good, but pricey. I don't think I will return though because I go out to eat so somebody else can cook my food.

Love this place. The all the can eat menu is the way to go even better than the All day happy hour on Monday. Nobu and Kevin are the best. Very friendly and attentive service. New decor is beautiful. Lively atmosphere and the built in exhaust ventilated grills don't leave you reeking of smoke on your clothes.

It's a great night spot - plenty of parking as other businesses in the location are closed by then and great value for money as there are many happy hour items on the menu that are very reasonable priced. Good quality too as the ingredients are fresh. Likewise, drinks are value-priced with a bucket of bottled beer - a selection of local craft and imports, at just $15. And service is friendly, prompt and efficient

We met with friends at this spot for a meeting. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, we were not disappointed. we were warmly welcomed by the staff members and we had a great feeling. The meal was yummy. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. We recommend this place to all.

We shared a Signature Cut Set and a Meat Liver’s Set lunch specials, both are very fresh and delicious, and not expensive. The meats are already marinated so additional sauces are not really necessary. Unlike many Asian BBQ, the smoke is kept to minimal as the grills have built in fans to suck in the smoke. The atmosphere is pleasant with light jazz in the background.

Make a reservation or you'll be waiting for a while. But the food is great and my servers have always been excellent. Never really had a bad experience here and always a great meal.

Went on a Monday for their happy hour menu, it's actually not that cheap and the meat quality is not all that great. All the meats has sauce all over so can't tell which one is the different meats types, it all tastes the same (same garlic sauce). Also, the service is pretty slow, had to ask for refills on drinks and water couple times. Once waived down the busser and he just walked away. Had to ask fkr check 3 times, had to stand up and walk to the hostess area to pay and get their attention. Kinda sad their service is slow, would have talked to a manager but no where to be find.

I like that location but not prices. This is a large chain or franchise with restaurants in all measure cities. Not your typical inexpensive lunch you find at most restaurants. 2 BBQ items - $12.95, 3 - $15.95. Add drink and tip - it looks like a dinner price. They also have " all you can eat" for $32. Brunch as well. Staff is friendly but still not my favorite Japanese restaurant.
